Podcasts
Podcasting is something I am particularly passionate about. As an avid listener myself, I find podcasts a fantastic way to engage an audience, allowing them in on the conversation and able to come away entertained as well as having learned something new. In my career and education to date, I've had the pleasure to create and present the podcasts below...
1. The Housing Industry Leaders Podcast
Exploring the complexities of decarbonising housing as net zero targets loom, I have enjoyed speaking to some of the UK's leading experts from the public and private sectors on all things retrofit, technology, policy, and social value.
2. The Hydrogen Industry Leaders Podcast
Over the two years I have worked on these podcasts, the hydrogen landscape has evolved, with abstract plans turning into concrete projects around the world, and I've been lucky enough to have conversations around infrastructure, use cases, policy, and the wider energy landscape.
3. The Health Industry Leaders Podcast
As a newer brand, the few podcast episodes I've produced about healthcare have established the dialogue around the varied and nuanced topics that define the sector, especially as net zero targets draw ever closer.
4. When I Grow Up...
Created as my dissertation project in my Multimedia Journalism Masters, this children's podcast was born out of my experiences working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school during the pandemic. I saw first-hand that children's perceptions of work had changed after seeing their parents go through struggles relating to furlough, working from home, and redundancy. I produced this podcast in an attempt to reframe the concept of work as something exciting, something to look forward to, while also opening up the landscape and introducing listeners to jobs they may or may not be familiar with. Getting children involved and having them ask the questions they wanted answers to was incredibly rewarding, and made for some quite amusing moments with guests!
